In mentioning the important people in my life, I left one very important person out (actually a few very important people- but this one called me out on it.)Momma Mary.
Mary is one of my 'other mothers'- one of the women who have been strong role models in my life. I know that deep down, under her hard exterior is a fuzzy bunny of a Mary, who loves me very much- and wants me to hug her all the time. Luckily for me, she puts up a strong face and refuses physical contact as much as possible.
Right Mary?
Winning the 'Honorable Mention Award' Mary is great for taking care of my mom and I when we need her most; even if that means feeding my raving addiction to Starbucks After Coffee Mints, or hugging us every once in a while. She's especially good therapy, and we love her dearly.
