There is no picture today; I've realized that I am out of decent pictures to post, or at least out of decent pictures to go with decent posts- since there hasn't been one of those in a while. I apologize for the mundane pictures, and even less enthralling information. As I said a few days ago, its exam time, and I've had a few very busy, very stressful days. I have a few more to come as well. This upcoming week I have three exams concentrated into two days- primarily from 12:30 pm Thursday until 6pm Friday, I'll either be taking an exam or studying for one.
Two of the exams should be pretty straight forward, and the other one I have no clue what to expect. My first exam is for my horse handling and management lab. Not only is most of what we do practical based, and the exam a mix of written and practical questions, but the information we've covered so far is all over the place. I have no clue on what we will be faced with that day, but I have a feeling it will be a very difficult test. Dr. McCann said she is planning on putting whatever she thinks will be "fun" on it- I'm very apprehensive about that. This is the professor that took us to the hay barn during class just because she hadn't seen it yet, and she was curious. (Although I would love to have pictures of inside there; it was gorgeous- like the underbelly of a huge ship- rich brown planks and dusty golden bales of hay piled probably close to twenty feet in the air. Mighty impressive.)
The second exam I am terrified of. Chemistry. Not only is it my worse subject this semester, but its a heavily emphasized class, and if I don't do well I will never be able to become a veterinarian. I need to get at least a C to even be able to get into Organic chemistry, and Biochemistry, both of which are part of the "Science GPA" for vet. school. Not to mention, squeaking by with a C does not look good for being able to do well in the later, more difficult chemistries; or satisfy my personal need to do well. I think that this will be the exam I study the most for.
The final exam is my Entomology exam. I've heard that the exams for this class are really easy, and should take less than a half-hour- I'm just not looking forward to the time 5:30 pm at the Math Emporium on a Friday night. On Valentines weekend, when I had two exams later in the day on actual Valentines. It shouldn't be too bad though, we've been provided with practice quizzes that I think I'll use a lot through out the week to prepare.
Anyway, the point of all of that was to apologize for the lack of decent posts, and prepare you all for a few more- less than satisfying ones along the way. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll be in another exam intermediate period and can post some good posts again. And along those same lines, I'll try and take the camera out and get some decent pictures so I can stop posting pictures of mainly my brothers.
Cheers, and happy Sunday.
