Why is it that time goes so fast when you want it to slow down? This year has been on hyper drive. I've already finished half of my first year of college, and it already midterm time second semester. I can't believe that the world would ever move so fast. These are suppose to be the best years of my life, but they are going by in the blink of an eye, and before I know it I'll be an old lady (and I mean figuratively, or at least in a biological clock sense of the term "old"). After all, if I do make it to Vet. School I'm looking at 7 more years of school - maybe 6 if I do a 3:1 vet school application option- but that all depends on the strength of my GPA, extracurriculars, research experience, veterinary experience, references... and well a lot of other things. Either way, at the earliest, when I finish school I'll be 25... and then I have to partner up, get known, and finally start my own practice.
The scariest part is thats all coming up so fast. I've been doing my 4-year plan the past few days and it all just seems so soon. And so much.
