Yay, I'm back again. I will no longer ignore you like yesterdays casserole- and I appologize for doing so in the first place; however, it was spring break and I desperately needed some recuperation time. Now that I'm back in the hustle of college life I'm in rather good spirits. Despite my continuing tiff with some temporary anemia this week, I am completely un-phased by the staggering amount of work sitting at my feet. I am actually so glad to be back, and so enjoying this wonderful spring weather we've been getting, that I'm not fretting one bit about the exams I have tomorrow and Thursday; nor did I mind having to reorganize my potential four-year college plan because some important information was put up late by a professor.
In fact, I am in such a good mood, I'm planning a special challenge for tomorrow!
Yesterday after devouring over 800 calories of high iron foods that my taste buds detest, and then an hour of D2 which I was no longer hungry for or able to enjoy, I spent the evening lulling in Alan's room while he played COD and did his homework. And while I was curled precariously on his bed (thanks to my ovaries- that wonderful nausea associated with eating and moving, is my favorite part of "game time") I decided that I really wanted to take more pictures of Alan. I absolutely adored the way the light from his desk lamp hit him while he worked out the tedious physics problems; the way he rest his head on his knuckles and the way his shoulders sloped. I wanted to capture the moment where the problem got exceedingly tricky and he parted his lips the way he always does when thinking intently; and the look on his face when he finally got the right answer.
...and instead of going on about everything I love, and was thinking about, about that perfect boy (which incidentally could go on forever) I'll skip to the point- I decided that one day I need to take my camera out with me and take pictures of everything I do along the day; or at least something from every time frame I'm out during the day since obviously a camera in my chem lab exam would be a very bad idea. So here is my challenge to myself, and to any reader if you so choose to join in.
Tomorrow, Weds. March 12, take your camera with you every where you go and take as many photos as you can. Take pictures of things you love, scenes that move you, images that provoke some sort of thought, and see what you come up with. Feel free to post or send link to your favorites, and any that I really appreciate I'll be sure to mention.
If this little challenge goes well I might make it a monthly or weekly thing- anything to keep me posting regularly and doing something artsy.
I might not do a daily post tomorrow, but I will have the raw images from Weds. up by Thursday, and any edited ones by Friday. Honorable mentions if anyone sends their own pictures will be up by this weekend.
