Surprisingly Un-Guilty

Today, I skipped a class, for the first time ever. I have Chemistry on Monday's and Wednesdays from 2:30- 3:20 pm, and today I could not convince myself to go. I guess it had to do with the opportunity cost (As my Econ. teacher would put it) of walking all they way to the Chem- Physics (Chemp) building to listen to my teacher talk about the exact same thing he had written on the DVD, versus staying in my building, getting all my laundry done, and studying all of chapter sixteen on the DVD for as long as I so chose. Surprisingly, I do not feel bad about not going to class. I actually feel I accomplished more than I would have, had I gone to class. However, it will be the only time I do skip- unless I'm dying or there is something extreme of that nature. I am not the kind of person who skipping settles well with. I also believe it's important to go hear what the professor has to say. But damn, it sure feels good to know I'll have clothes to wear tomorrow.

This morning I realized that I had forgotten I needed to do a massive amount of laundry on Sunday, and was forced to make the decision to wear a dress because I simply ran out of clothes. (Okay, sure, there were still a few other options- but the dress looks the best). Currently I have a bunch of socks scattered about my room drying because the driers here suck. It is satisfying to know though, that tomorrow I'll have clean pair of jeans and a clean t-shirt to throw on to go to bio. lab and dissect fetal pigs. Actually, thinking about it, I probably shouldn't wear my favorite t-shirt or anything. Formaldehyde is nasty stuff.

Now, since I didn't post anything this weekend, I want to say Happy Easter to everyone. I personally didn't do anything special - unless you count going to Kroger, doing econ., and watching Bender's Big Score on Comedy Central as special. My family, however, went to Maryland as tradition begets, and spent the holiday with my step-grandparents. I'm glad they all had a good time. Here's a few pictures my mom sent me. (No editing included...maybe another time.)
