Think Thick
So besides working on my Threadless submission and my math homework- I've decided to start working out. When I went to school last August I weighed roughly 113 lbs. and now that schools over I weigh a grand total of 103. Not only did I not gain the Freshman 15, but I lost weight; and unlike most girls I, loosing weight is no where close to what I want to do. For my age and height I'm quite underweight- which is annoying because I do eat quite a lot- my metabolism just moves too quickly. Which I know, I know, someday I will be thankful for- but right now I just can't get pass the fact that I have to wear a belt with my size 0 jeans. I also was quite fond of my old lacrosse and horseback riding muscles, so the lack of them is disheartening. Because I can't eat my way into a larger weight class, putting on some more muscle mass is the only thing I can think to do. After all, muscle weighs more than fat. However, working out still has its major flaws. The reason I stopped running (which I do miss terribly) is my hip's inability to remain properly in joint. See the problem ? This also makes a good portion of abdominal work outs impossibly painful. But I'll see what I can get done over the rest of the summer- hopefully I'll put on some muscle mass and bump my weight up so all that walking I do at school doesn't take too much off again. Today I did a nice little routine I found online and I think I might keep that up, along with some additional ab work (yay obliques), some stairs, and some wall sits. I may go running every once in a while with Jeremy and Mikey, but I'll have to see if my hip can handle that. One glorious run isn't worth three or four days (at least) of not being able to walk afterwards; plus the intense heat makes running anytime other than really early or pretty late difficult. So it goes huh?

I'm trying to ignore the "belt with size 0's" comment. ;o) I was trying on exercise clothes today at the store (for my rafting trip) and the girl in the stall next to me was complaining b/c they didn't have any extra-small swim suits. I wanted to tell her a thing or two! Ah...to be young and thin. (I do undertand your problem, believe it or not. My sister was like you...once upon a time. Now she can't lose weight!) Either way, exercise is good for you so good luck!
