Workin'

So it's been a week since I last updated, and for that I appologize. However, I have started a new "job" (technically I'm not getting paid, just getting experience, so its kind of more of an internship) and come home simply way to worn out to come up with something decent to tell you all.

Some more about the work I've been doing:

I work at this nice barn off Old Colchester Rd, near Gunston Hall, called Tamarack Stables. Mainly I help out with the summer camp they host, but I've also told them to call me if they ever need help at any other time. Its great experience, but a lot of hard, hot work. If I keep helping out there, they will teach me to be a Junior Trainer, and then eventually a Senior Trainer and make some decent money over the breaks when I go home. The other really cool thing is they breed Andalusians, so I may be able to get some experience in there!

The other thing I really am enjoying is the return of muscle tone to my body. Yay muscle! I miss my old calves, and though I know I'm not going to get them back into the shape the were in when I was playing lacrosse and riding... this is still better than they were. I'm also getting a bit of a tan! (Yes, it is a farmers tan, but that's alright)

Also, bonus news that I'm really excited about, I got an 88% on my first math exam. I'm pretty proud of myself.

Cool job. Have fun this summer. Ah, the farmer's tan...I'd love to have one, but alas, sitting in front of a computer takes priority...at least I love AC, I guess.
