Week Three

Hello there Internet, old friend and confidant. I have neglected you all over the past few weeks, and months even- an I am terribly sorry about that. Yes, I had promises of posting so much more often once I returned to school- and yes, I have failed to keep that. Things are busy, life is hectic sometimes. And sometimes, as much as I like you Internet, I don't want to share my life with you.

The past few weeks have been interesting though; I have a limited scope of understanding with Organic Chemistry- but I'm working on it. I have an awesome class taught by vet school professors. The only class I have this semester that actually talks about animals at all (in detail). This isn't one of those semester where I get to go to the barns, and I have to admit I miss it. I miss working with horses quiet a lot. I'll have to stop by Smithfield sometime soon and see the new babies. I am, though, taking a class that ponders the relationship between humans, literature, and the natural world. Its rather interesting- but also a lot of work. I've currently written two papers- one of which tried to come to terms with the suppressed feeling I got at the viewing and funeral, and explored the implications of culture on how I should have reacted to the situation. It wasn't my best work- but one that I think was helpful to write.

In other news, Alan got me Spore this weekend. Its pretty a awesome game- even if I'm not very good at the civilization part of it.

Anyway, Internet, sorry to keep you waiting- and sorry to give you limited information right now. I promise I'll try and get better soon.
