However, I did receive the Tupperware Microsteamer this week for my birthday. Now if there ever was a kitchen tool for college students, this would be it. If Tupperware was smart they would advertise the Microsteamer as such, and sell a college kid cook book for it. You can make practically anything in it, in under twenty minutes, in the microwave. What else would college students want when it comes to cooking? Seriously. Since I got mine Wednesday I have used it about 6 times. I made sweet and sour chicken today that was pretty good, but I forgot to take pictures. The chicken was incredible, eight minutes and it was fully cooked, and juicy as can be. I think the sweet and sour sauce was a little off though, next time I'll adjust the recipe a bit.
I also made cake today. Cake in the Microsteamer. In under ten minutes. Yup, and it was delicious. A box of vanilla cake, a can of mountain dew, and nine minutes later I had a very moist, sweet cake that everyone loved. This I did manage to take pictures of. It wasn't the prettiest thing, but it sure was good. It also stuck a little bit to the steamer but nothing too bad, and I think if I let it cool a little longer before lifting the steamer off it would have stayed together a little better.
All and all though I am very satisfied with the way it turned out. We didn't add any frosting because it was already way too sweet, but I'm sure you could make a really pretty cake with it if you wanted. I'm going to have to experiment with types of sodas and cake mixes to use in the future as well. I've heard cherry coke and chocolate go very well together.

Tomorrow I'm going to finish off the bit of the chicken we had from making dinner tonight, and I will have to try and remember to get pictures of that too. I have to say, I really enjoy cooking- and this makes it so much easier. And fun!
As far as the rest of break went, it was pretty chill. I watched a friend's kitten, who was trouble the whole time and really made me appreciate Orion more. Although the first two days were kind of rocky once they settled down they became friends and I think they enjoyed the play date. Most of the week I relaxed and studied. I'm still not totally confident for my tests but I think with a bit more studying I should be okay. My class Monday was canceled so I will be sure to be studying that day to take advantage of the time I'm going to get.
I also want to thank everyone who has voted on my T-shirt design! I appreciate it greatly.
