You all might as well get used to me talking about bodily functions in regard to reproduction, it's only going to get worse as time goes on. I actually decided that in addition to specializing in equines as a veterinarian, I want to specialize in theriogenology. That is to say, I want to study the birth/beginnings/reproduction of animals. Maybe not just horses, but I think thats where I mainly want to focus.
If I do stick to just horses I think I want to work specifically with helping preserve the Akhal Teke breed. Over the past few years, the more research I have put into these horses, the more I've wanted to work with them. Although I currently have not had any experience with the relevantly rare breed, I am drawn to them. The Akhal breed also would make wonderful contributions to the warmblood world, creating influences like they once did in the Arabian and Thoroughbred lines. ...anyway, thats a lot of talk for another time when this fatigue isn't making it so damn difficult to breath, or anything else... I promise it will all come up again.
